This is an excellent example of a York-made silver table spoon made by James Barber and William Whitwell.
This George III period, Old English pattern table spoon benefits from having no personalised engraving, nor any erasures. It is a great quality spoon with a nice feel in the hand, a clear set of York hallmarks for 1821 and is fine original condition with a good bowl tip and patina.
