This is a scarce example of a 12" long silver basting or stuffing spoon made in York.
This George IV serving spoon is engraved with an initial "C" in script to the front terminal and clearly hallmarked to the reverse. Made in the Old English pattern by Barber & Whitwell, this good quality spoon remains in excellent condition throughout.
