Table Spoons (pair) - Fiddle,Thread & Shell Pattern - London 1819 by Paul Storr - 22.3cm long; 201g combined weight - FJ/6050g

This is a top quality pair of George III period silver table spoons made by Paul Storr.

Made in double-struck Fiddle, Thread & Shell pattern, these two table spoons each have a weight of 100 grams and thus have a nice, hefty feel in the hand. Their high quality is further evidenced by the contemporary engraved crests within a garter and the Latin motto "Nil Sine Corde" (translating to "nothing without heart").

The spoons bear clear London hallmarks for 1819 to the reverse side and include the highly cherished "PS" maker's mark for Paul Storr. The condition is excellent with crisp decoration and good, thick bowl tips.
