This is a most unusual cast silver caddy spoon in the form of a scallop shell.
The reverse side of the shell is beautifully detailed whilst the inner bowl remains plain. The short plain handle is fully hallmarked to the reverse with the maker's mark of the specialist spoon makers Aldwinckle & Slater. This Victorian caddy spoon is in excellent condition.
