Table Spoon - Trefid - London 1690 by John Lapley (possibly) - 19.6cm long; 50g - PH/3072a</p>

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fine early William & Mary period silver trefid spoon. It has a good full-sized bowl and bears dot-pricked betrothal initials to the reverse terminal. The reverse of the bowl has a plain rattail and there is a good set of hallmarks with the maker's marks "I.L" possibly for John Lapley - see "London Silver Spoonmakers" by Tim Kent page 47.  great spoon in fine collectable condition.
