Susanna Barker made some delightful silver wine labels and this BRANDY label is no exception.
Made circa 1780 and certainly before the introduction of the duty stamp hallmark in 1784, this attractive Georgian rectangular bottle ticket is delicately engraved around the border and hangs from its original chain. It is marked with the "SB" maker's mark and lion passant to the reverse. The label remains in fine condition.
