Devlin Caddy Spoon, 1976

This is a wonderful silver caddy spoon made by the most well known of late 20th century English silversmiths, Stuart Devlin. The spoon has a good chunky feel in the hand and has an unusual square, upright handle with the gilt textured finish that epitomises Devlin silver. The spoon bears the London lion's head city mark to the bowl and the remaining hallmarks to the underside of the handle. It is in fabulous condition.
