This is a beautiful egg-shaped silver tea infuser made in London by Thomas Johnson.
This large mid-Victorian tea infuser is beautifully pierced with crosslets, roundels and scrolls and has a gilt interior. There is a hinge to the centre and it hangs from a chain terminating in a hook. This stunning tea infuser is in fine condition throughout and a great example of its type.
