Parrot Pin Cushion, 1908

Measuring 3" long, this is a good-sized, antique, silver pin cushion in the form of a parrot. This is a rare novelty, Edwardian pin cushion with few examples appearing on the market and seldom as good as this one.

As you would expect from Adie & Lovekin, the bird is nicely modelled and stands firmly on its two feet and tail. The pad is a nicely done replacement and the overall condition is excellent with a clear set of hallmarks.
