'Bird's Egg' Scent Bottle, 1886

Made in the form of a blackbird's egg, this exquisite little ceramic scent phial has a corked silver threaded cover to prevent leaks. It was made by the innovative Sampson Mordan who specialised in such novelties and also bears a registration number to the underside. It benefits from being in excellent condition.
