Silver Bottle Opener, Pyramid by Georg Jensen

The quintessential Art Deco pattern is Georg Jensen's Pyramid and this is a great example of a useful silver handled bottle opener in this design.

Made during the 1930's, this bottle opener is supplied in a later Jensen cardboard box (circa 1960/70's and with signs of use). The sterling silver handle bears the appropriate Georg Jensen workshop marks for the 1933-44 period. The stainless steel opener section also shows signs of age with some pitting but this has not affected its ability to remove bottle caps. A rare piece of practical Georg Jensen silver and an ideal gift.
