Set of 6 Picture-Front & Back Teaspoons, c.1765

This is a rare set of mid-18th century silver teaspoons decorated with a picture-back featuring a farmyard scene with a hen and coop.

Additionally, the front terminals of these spoons are adorned with an eagle amongst foliage. This is a fine quality set in great condition with the majority of detail still visible. The lower stems are struck with appropriate London hallmarks for small spoons (lion passant and maker's mark) and include the AF mark for Andrew Fogelberg.
