Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is an unusual Scottish silver caddy spoon that is documented and appears in "Caddy Spoons: An Illustrated Guide" by John Norie as plate 74f.

Hallmarked in early Victorian Glasgow, this spoon has a King's pattern handle and a large fluted bowl, but it is the quirky curlicues to the shoulders that set it apart from others. AG Whighton, the maker, is rarely encountered and presumably had his own design ideas! The spoon is in good condition with just a touch of wear to the decoration.
