Round Patch Box, 1790 by SP

This is a very pretty late 18th century silver patch box with an attractively engraved shield cartouche to the top personalised with original script "EJ" initials.The box is appropriately marked to the inside and interestingly bears date letters "S" and "T" and so was presumably marked around the change-over to the date letter. The condition is excellent throughout.
