Unusually for a silver patch box this example has a hinged, rather than pull-off cover and it makes for a very tidy little box. The top of this Georgian box has an engraved chequer-board design whilst the underside has a leafy tendril motif. The inside is a little discoloured from use, but overall the box is in fine condition with good hallmarks.
