Reign Beau Ltd Silver Caddy Spoon, 2005

This is a beautiful silver tea caddy spoon made by Reign Beau Ltd (yes, that's us!).

Inspired by the work of Omar Ramsden and offered at a fraction of the cost, this spoon was hand-made by Mark our silversmith as part of a collection of about thirty different silver caddy spoons that we made during 2005/6 (can't believe it was twenty years ago!).This particular spoon was sold to a UK retailer who then sold it on to a private collector and it has recently been bought back by us. 

The collection of caddy spoons were either designed from scratch, inspired by existing arts and crafts examples or made to commission with intertwined initial handles bespoke to the recipient. This spoon has a reef knot handle, a central turquoise stone and a deep bowl that retains its original planishing marks to the underside.

Even if we say so ourselves, it is a lovely looking spoon and really well made too! It has a nice hefty feel in the hand and remains in excellent condition.
