Mustard Pot - Drum-shaped; Pierced; Cranberry Glass Liner - London 1854 by Barnards - 7.3cm x 9cm; 226g gross weight; 127g silver weight - CP/8978

Barnards were the largest, high quality producers of silverware in London during the Victorian period and this silver mustard pot is a gem!

It is a good-sized, drum-shape with Gothic-style engraving to the hinged cover and piercings to the body. The piercing beautifully shows off the cranberry coloured glass liner to the inside - nice to see this colour of glass for a change compared to the more prevalent blue. The removable glass liner is complete with star-cut base and is a perfect fit.

The condition is superb throughout with crisp decoration to the silver, no damage to the glass and no personalised engravings.
