Novelty Owl Silver Salt & Pepper Condiments, 1961

These are a fantastic pair of novelty silver salt and pepper pots in the form of owls.

The models are cast and consequently have a good, hefty weight and lovely feel in the hand. They are superbly modelled with glass eyes and removable heads to allow easy re-filling. One pot has a single hole for use as a salt pot and the other with multiple holes for pepper and both bear full sets of hallmarks to the tails.

These condiments were made by the top London firm of Richard Comyns and are in excellent condition.
