Paul de Lamerie Silver Salt Pot, 1732

We are pleased to be able to offer a silver salt pot by the most cherished of all British silversmiths - Paul De Lamerie. Affordable pieces by this great English maker are very scarce. This is a good-sized cauldron salt pot with a hefty weight that you would expect. The flair of this silversmith can be seen in the trefoil junction to the legs. The salt pot is in excellent condition with a great example of the all important PL maker's mark.
