Paul Callard Marrow Scoop, 1767
Marrow Scoop - Double-ended - London 1767 by Paul Callard - 21.8cm long; 51g - UE/7476
This is an excellent quality silver marrow scoop made by the high quality maker, Paul Callard. In the usual double-ended form and perfect for extracting tasty morsels from marrowfat bones, this marrow scoop has a really nice feel in the hand with a good weight and an expertly engraved crest featuring a lion emanating from a crown on the wider scoop. It has a clear set of hallmarks including a great example of the PC maker's mark and is in fine overall condition.
