The hallmarks on these two York-made silver table spoons are fabulous. Made by the partnership of Cattle & Barber, the spoons bear date letters for the consecutive years of 1810 and 1811 and with an average weight of 80 grams each, they have a really solid feel in the hand. The superb engraved crests to the front terminal depicting a wyvern's head and wings just add further weight to the high quality. Furthermore their condition is top notch too with thick bowl tips still in place. An all round excellent pair of provincial silver table spoons.
