Pair of Trencher Salt Pots, 1715

These are very early and rare pair of George I period trencher style silver salt pots. They are oval in form and survive in remarkably good condition with neither damage nor repair. The Britannia standard silver hallmarks are located inside the bowls and include the charming "Lo" maker's mark surmounted by two dots (eyes - rebus on looker).
