Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are a stunning pair of antique silver sauce ladles in the scare and desirable Admiralty pattern.

In addition to the die-struck fouled anchor motif of the Royal Navy, these sauce ladles are engraved with an unusual, but attractive engraved crest - no doubt belonging to a high ranking officer. The sauce ladles have a good, solid feel in the hand (as one would expect from Chawner & Co) and are in fine, antique condition.

Admiralty Pattern was first produced circa 1838 for use by the Royal Navy (as denoted by the arrow stamp adjacent to the hallmark).
