Salt Pots (pair) - Rectangular with Gadroon Mounts & Gilt Interiors - London 1811 by Joseph William Story & William Elliott - 9.5cm long; 7.2cm wide; 5cm high; 263g combined weight - YC/4903a

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are a fabulous quality pair of antique silver salt pots with a good, heavy feel in the hand.

These rectangular salts have gadroon mounts and stand on a rectangular pedestal foot. The interiors are gilt to protect the silver from the corrosive effects of salt. The sides are engraved with original crests and bear hallmarks for the short-lived partnership of Joseph William Story & William Elliott (maker's marks incompletely stamped).

These are a top quality pair of Regency period salt cellars that remain in excellent condition.
