Table Spoons (pair) - Bright-cut Engraved - Jersey circa 1790 by George Hamon - 22cm long; 124g combined weight - KM/7217

This is a stunning pair of late 18th century silver table spoons from Jersey in the Channel Islands.

Both of these Georgian spoons are decorated with elegant, bright-cut engraving and include the original script monograms to the terminals. The condition is superb with crisp decoration, a fine patina and nice, thick bowl tips. The reverse sides bear a single stamp for "GH" crowned - this is the mark of the Jersey silversmith George Hamon who was working on the island from circa 1780 and into the 19th century.

A fine pair of spoon that would be ideal for serving purposes.
