Serving Spoons (pair) - Stylised Flowers - London 1923 by Alwyn Carr - 21.3cm long; 223g combined weight - RF/6891

This is a superb pair of good-sized silver serving spoons made by Alwyn Carr, one time partner with Omar Ramsden.

The handles of these lovely spoons are cleverly made up of three stylised flowers with deep, pear-shaped bowls showing their original spot hammer marks which bear witness to their hand-making in true arts & crafts style. The London hallmarks are clearly stamped to the reverse with large examples of the sought after "AC" in Gothic script maker's mark for Alwyn Carr. Both spoons are in fine condition and have a nice chunky feel in the hand.
