Elizabethan pattern is one of the most desirable of all silver flatware patterns and these serving spoons portray the pattern to its best and are gilt all over to give an extra feeling of high quality.

Housed in a later fitted case (two label marks and scuffing to the top), these antique spoons have a fabulous look and feel. The Elizabethan pattern decoration remains super crisp throughout with no personalised engravings and the gilding is pretty much intact throughout (although there are a few minor areas of wear to the backs of the bowls and handles).

Francis Higgins was one of the finest silver flatware makers of the 19th and 20th centuries and these spoons are great examples of his craft. Collingwoods were one of London's great luxury goods retailers from the late Victorian period and they fitted the spoons in to one of their plush presentation cases during the late 1930's/40's (i.e. King George V died in 1936). A great pair of antique silver serving spoons that can be put to multiple uses.
