This good-sized rectangular nutmeg grater is ribbed to all six sides to improve grip and has a cast floral thumbpiece to ease opening. The top has a rectangular cartouche that is engraved "Cochrane". This top quality grater is hinged to reveal the steel rasp and also hinged to the base to retrieve the grated spice; pleasingly both hinges are hidden within the decoration. The condition is excellent throughout.
