This is a rare and attractive novelty silver caddy spoon in the form of dust pan.
Dating from the latter years of the Victorian period, the spoon has a shovel-shaped bowl with looped wire handle. The maker's mark is clearly "LD", but we have not been able to identify this silversmith. This is a scarce piece which is in excellent condition throughout.
