Newcastle Table Spoon, 1785 incuse duty mark

This is a fine example of a late 18th Newcastle made table spoon. It has two main benefits; the attractive bright-cut engraving and a good example of the scarce incuse duty mark (used for just 18 months). The terminal is engraved with a script monogram and the spoon is in very good condition.
