Mustard Pot - Pierced, Drum-shaped - London 1860 by George Richards & Edward Brown - 7.5cm high; 8.8cm across; 107g - LR/1980

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fabulous drum-shaped silver mustard pot with beautifully pierced sides and a lovely floral swag design. The London based silversmithing partnership of Richards & Brown were one of the finest producers of silverware and included William Comyn amongst their apprentices. This mustard pot is a fine example of their work and has been superbly made. It is in fine condition and bears an engraved crest of a dog to the top of the hinged cover. The blue glass liner has a star-cut base and is almost certainly original.
