Michael Bolton Silver Caddy Spoon, 1997

This is a lovely silver caddy spoon made by Michael Allen Bolton.

Inspired by Celtic, Roman and Anglo-Saxon metalwork, Michael Bolton was one of the UK's foremost silversmiths of the past fifty years. This caddy spoon has a planished oblong bowl from the hand-raising process and the drop to the front is reminiscent of Roman period spoons. 

The spoon has a good, chunky feel in the hand and is fully hallmarked to the top of the handle and includes the MAB mark of the maker/
