Linwood Leaf Caddy Spoon, 1808

This handsome Georgian silver caddy spoon has a bowl in the form of a veined leaf and a looped tendril handle. Unusually it is fully hallmarked inside the bowl (often these are unmarked or part-marked only) and is in excellent condition (often they are damaged or repaired). This is a great example by Mathew Linwood, who was one of the best Birmingham silversmiths.
