Epergne - Twin Branch with Wirework Trellis - Sheffield 1909 by William Hutton & Sons - 29.5cm high; 1265g - KR/4848

This is a rare and exquisite example of an antique silver centrepiece epergne featuring a central flower or fruit vase (it would be ideal for holding grapes) and two side dishes for holding sweets or nibbles.

The epergne dates from the Edwardian period and is made up of ribbon and bow festoons featuring vine leaf and grape motifs on a wirework trellis. There are two branches each holding a removable silver dish that can be used independent of the epergne. All three containers have removable Bristol blue glass liners.

This is a beautiful piece of English silver in fine condition throughout.
