We are pleased to offer such a fine example of a George I period rat-tail silver basting spoon. This 13.5" long spoon is in excellent condition with a bold rattail to the reverse side. It has a good hefty weight and a clear set of hallmarks to the reverse of the stem. This large spoon is multi-purpose in function and could be used as a stuffing, gravy or long handled serving spoon.
