This stylish late 20th century silver dish with cover was designed for Georg Jensen by Allan Scharff circa 1980. It is known as the Flycatcher because of its bird-like appearance and was exhibited in the Danish Museum of Art & Design (formerly Museum of Decorative Art), Copenhagen. The dish would be ideal for serving sweets, nibbles olives and other hors d'oeuvres. It is in fine condition and stamped with appropriate Georg Jensen Sterling marks to the underside together with the design number 1337.
