This antique Scottish provincial silver table spoon was made in Inverness by Robert Naughten.

Made in the fiddle pattern and engraved with a Gothic-style letter "M" to th front terminal, this good-looking table spoon is in fine condition with original patina. It is stamped to the reverse side with RN maker's mark, cornucopia and the Scottish thistle. Robert Naughton was working in Inverness between 1813 and 1857.
