Basting Spoon - Fiddle Pattern - Inverness circa 1810 by Charles Jamieson - 29.1cm long; 111g - PN/7503

This is a fabulous and rare 11.5" long Scottish silver serving or basting spoon made in Inverness by Charles Jamieson.

This good-sized fiddle pattern spoon has typically elongated features in the Scottish style and is engraved to the front terminal with an original "AM" script monogram. The condition is superb (just look at the thick tip to the bowl) and the Scottish provincial marks remain clear throughout and read: "CJ", "INS" and "J".

A fantastic spoon in remarkably fine condition!
