Candelabra (3) - Corinthan Column - London 1879/80 by Richard Hodd I & Richard Hodd II - 58cm (23") max height of central light; 39.5cm (15.5") max. spread - Ref: GC/4331

We are offering a fabulous suite of three Victorian Corinthian column silver candelabra.

The set comprises a larger and taller central 2-branch candelabrum and a pair of slightly shorter, 2-branch, side candelabra.

The branches sit atop square-based Corinthian column candlesticks that are filled to their insides to maximise stability. The candlesticks can be used independent of the branches and make an impressive set in themselves. Each branch has two lights that are fitted with removable sconce nozzles to ease the cleaning of spent wax; the side pieces have a flame snuffer to the middle, whilst the central example has an extra removable column to increase the overall height to an impressive 23".

These candelabra were made in London by Richard Hodd I & Richard Hodd II and each piece is appropriately hallmarked. They are all in excellent condition.
