This is a good, long example of a Georgian silver marrow scoop with the bonus of being marked with the sought after Hester Bateman maker's mark.
The marrow scoop takes the standard double-ended form with both a wide and narrow scoop to tease out tasty morsels from marrowfat bones. The condition is excellent with an especially good, clear set of London hallmarks to the central shank.
