This is a good-sized and fine quality Victorian silver goblet with a generous one pint capacity.
Made by the brothers Daniel and Charles Houle, this cup has a good hefty weight, attractive decoration around the stem and pedestal foot and the gilding to the inside is a further sign of the high quality expected from this silversmithing partnership. There is the added bonus of no presentation engravings and excellent overall condition with some minor wear to the hallmarks.
