Serving up to six people, this lovely silver egg cup cruet stand has a central tripod handle in the form of naturalistic branches and a beautiful aesthetic style engraved design to the round base plate.
Each of the egg cups is similarly engraved with ferns and grasses to give a very pleasing overall look. Dating from the 1820's and 30's, the six fiddle pattern egg spoons with engraved crests are not original, but are an excellent fit to the set and have their own slots within the base.
This Victorian egg cruet bears the London retailers name Howell & James to the underside and remains in excellent condition with crisp decoration throughout.
