Hanoverian Basting Spoon, 1748

This is a lovely quality 13" long Georgian silver basting spoon in the Hanoverian pattern. This large spoon bears original engraved betrothal initials to the reverse terminal - "W+C/M+A" and has a large, generous bowl with thick bowl tip. The spoon is superb condition with original patina, clear hallmarks and a hefty weight in the hand - a very fine piece!
