Caddy Spoon - Right Hand - London 1810 by Josiah Snatt - 7.1cm long; 7.9g - HN/9205</p>
The "Hand" caddy spoon is one of the holy trinity of caddy spoons for the collector - the other two being the jockey cap and eagle's wing - and this is a very fine example made by the main exponent of the type, Josiah Snatt.
This is a right hand exampled with finely modelled fingers, engraved nails and an attractively engraved cuff handle. Due to their delicate nature, this type of novelty caddy spoon is prone to damage, but fortunately this example is in superb condition throughout.
