This is a rare Georgian Scottish provincial silver table spoon made in Greenock by William Clarke.

The spoon is in the quintessentially Scottish Celtic Point Pattern spoon and benefitsd from having no personalised engravings. The reverse side bears a clear set of Scottish provincial marks: "WC", "Anchor", "C", "ship" and "green oak" for William Clarke of Greenock. This late 18th century spoon is in excellent condition throughout.
