Elizabeth Jackson Table Spoon, 1749

Table Spoon - Hanoverian Pattern - London 1749 by Elizabeth Jackson - 20.3cm long; 65g - LS/5345</p>
This is a fine example of a mid-18th century silver Hanoverian pattern with a good hefty weight of over 2 tr.oz. It further benefits from having a good, clear set of hallmarks including a fine example of the "EJ" maker's mark in a widow's lozenge for the lady silversmith, Elizabeth Jackson. The spoon is in fine condition (one small ding to the bowl), with a thick bowl tip and an attractive engraved crest to the reverse terminal. A great example!
