Georgian Silver Tea Caddy Spoon, 1792
Sold
Caddy Spoon - London 1792 by John Blake - 6.6cm long; 10.5g - DT/2029
This is a beautiful late 18th century silver tea caddy spoon in fine condition.
The unusual square-shaped handle is attractively engraved around the border and centred by a navette-shaped cartouche that remains free from personalised engravings. John Blake, together with John Brockwell, were two makers using the "IB" makers mark during the 1790's, this spoon is more likely to have been made by the former.
