This George III period silver sauce label was made by the top silversmith Robert Hennell and bears the name "KYAN" (for cayenne pepper sauce) to the front.
The label was made between 1786 to 1790 period when small labels such as this did not require a date letter, but after 1786 needed to be stamped with a duty mark. This silver sauce label is in excellent condition.
