This is a lovely silver cream ladle made by the top specialist spoonmaking partnership from the final quarter of the 18th century - Smith & Fearn. 

Part-way in size between a salt spoon and a sauce ladle, this Georgian ladle has an Old English pattern handle with thread border and a lovely, deep, shell-shaped bowl which is gilt. The ladle is in fine condition with an antique patina and no personalised engravings.
