This circular silver waiter tray has a superb quality cast and pierced border which is decorated with cherub heads, scrolls, vine leaves and bunches of grapes.The three cast bracket feet are similarly decorated and the centre is engraved "R" within a scroll cartouche. This 12" diameter Georgian salver is of the very highest quality and was made by the premier London silversmiths, Smith and Sharp. It is in fine condition with just a few typical and very minor dings. An excellent salver with a truly hefty weight and good, crisp decoration to the border!
